What Illinois law guarantees

Under Illinois Hospital Uninsured Patient Discount Act (210 ILCS 89), Morrison Community Hospital must provide FREE care to uninsured patients at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Level, and discounted care for patients up to 300%. The hospital may collect no more than 20% of your yearly family income.

Because Morrison Community Hospital is a Critical Access (rural) hospital, Illinois law sets lower limits: free care up to 125% and discounts up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Level.
