South Carolina's Medically Indigent Assistance Program helps pay for hospital care for very-low-income residents (generally around 200% of the federal poverty guidelines). It is a state- and county-funded program — ask the hospital or your county about applying (S.C. Code § 44-6-150). See the official source ↗
